Hosted by the Women’s Roundtable at East Carolina
University, “A Legacy of Leadership: One Hundred
Incredible ECU Women” honored 100 alumnae recognized
by their peers as outstanding leaders in their respective
fields. The categories were public service, performing
arts, fine arts, business and industry, sports, education,
health sciences, media, professional and research.

A Pirate’s Life for Me! is a half-hour radio show that
features interviews with noteworthy East Carolina alumni.
The station is located in Greenville, North Carolina, and
is a part of the Alumni program of East Carolina University.
I was honored and pleased to tell about my successes since
I graduated.

- Recognized for my paintings in Minges arena and Ward
Sports Medical Building in the book: “Ninety Years,
THE ART TRADITION AT EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY" by Michael
Duffy 1999.
- Having over sixteen portraits of mine hanging on the campus
of ECU to include two large murals for the Minges Coliseum
and four Deans of the Brody School of Medicine.
- Having ten portraits hanging in Superior court rooms
across North Carolina
- Being commissioned for paintings by:
- Minges Pepsi Corporation: portraits of four past CEOs
for the boardroom.
- William Belk, of Belk Apartment Stores, a group of
three large paintings for his home in Charlotte.
- Dean Christman, Gallery director, Hofstra University,
NY.
- Having hundreds of portraits hanging in libraries,
business centers and prominent private homes through

- Being chosen as a finalist in a Portrait Society of America

1994 & 1995 Rebel Magazine.
