Acclaimed Portrait Artist Irene Bailey will have Solo
Exhibition: “Celebration of Light, Love & Loyalty”,
from
May 15 to June 25 at The Masters Octave an 1860 Historic
Home in Keyport, NJ.
The
Opening Reception will be May 15th from 1:00-5:00.
Discuss
with artist her portrait work while enjoying “Champagne
and Lite Bites”.

Seventy
two original works will be on display. All portrait and
figurative paintings are alive with movement and luminous
light. Irene’s Technique is ‘painterly yet
precise” and her color is luscious. Her goal is
“to capture the essence of the subject, then to
create a work of art that will stand the test of time”
While producing a work of Fine Art, Irene strives to capture
the true personality of her subjects. Her portraits are
painterly yet technically precise"

PAINTING
FROM A LIVE MODEL
A
three day workshop focusing on painting from a live model.
Students will learn how to proceed and what to think about
step by step while painting a portrait from life. The
workshop will include demos each day as well as group
talks and individual instruction at each easel. Students
may work in oils or pastels. The evening of the last day
the class is invited to Irene’s Studio and Gallery
in her home for wine and Hors d'oeuvres.

$250.00 (plus model fee)
$50.00 nonrefundable registration deposit should be mailed
with the registration form below. Balance is due at first
session, Sunday August 15th.

Number of students is limited to ten so register early.
Supplies: A supply list will be mailed to you along with
a receipt for your registration fee.

Irene,
I attended your oil portrait demonstration today at the
Monmouth
Festival of the Arts and just wanted to thank you for
donating your
time and considerable talents! It was amazing to watch
you work --
within 10 minutes (!) you had the basic likeness nailed,
and you
sailed through the next hour producing a really fine painting.
It was
so interesting to watch you precisely place the highlights
and shadows
and then the color and detail to make it all come together.
A true
professional in action!
