As you walk into Paul Hartley’s office,
you find it welcoming. He looks up, takes his glasses
off and asks how you are. The figure behind him is a self-
portrait. It is a stuffed torso with real shoes all wrapped
in saran wrap. I always loved what the memorabilia surrounding
him told about the person.
